Drapes & Pours
My practice incorporates the act of pouring & draping as both gesture and language — an embodied, material process that connects contemporary art-making with ancestral artisan practices.
Drapes & Pours documents projects made by pouring and embedding layers of water based paints & kumkum (amongst other materials) onto canvases, silks and cottons.
